Essential Responsibilities:

  • Accurate and timely processing of the Company's biweekly salaried payroll in Paycor including wage calculations, deductions and direct deposits
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records and ensure the accuracy of data related to pay, taxes and benefits
  • Produce reporting on payroll metrics for internal and compliance purposes
  • Maintain accurate accounting of payroll on the general ledger
  • Supervise, assist, and backfill for hourly payroll specialist as needed
  • Ensure all payroll activities comply with relevant government laws and regulations, and stay up to date on changing tax laws
  • Act as first point of contact for salaried employees regarding their pay, deductions, and other payroll-related questions
  • Administer the Company's corporate card program and ensure all charges are reviewed and coded properly
  • Review the Company's employee expense reports for compliance with the Company's expense policy

Key Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in payroll
  • Integrity, discretion and follow through
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to accuracy and details
  • Experience supervising employees
  • Experience with Paycor desired, and other payroll processing software
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office systems
