Syneos Health is looking for an experienced Search, Associate Media Drector. The Search, Associate Media Director is a role within the integrated media team responsible for planning and executing advanced search strategy. The Search, Associate Media Director will lead and mentor a team of search and biddable media specialists. The ideal candidate will exhibit proven success managing complex search programs (SEM + SEO) within the pharma/healthcare space while exhibiting a working knowledge of other media programs to better understand the role that search plays within the larger media landscape. This position plays an important role in building trust and expertise with our clients and the ideal candidate will excel at relaying complex search topics in a way that is understandable for someone with no search experience.

Passion for great performance is a must – the ideal candidate will proactively lead our clients and recommend solutions to existing campaigns while helping to craft strategy for new initiatives. This role will oversee our largest and most prominent clients and remain responsible for the direction and outcome of their search campaigns.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, present and own the success of search engine marketing programs across the largest clients at Syneos Health.
  • Lead, mentor and train members of the search team through a search professional development program
  • Develop and implement SOPs governing all aspects of best practice campaign development for the search department
  • Own all areas of campaign development and optimization, from keyword and copy creation to bid management and KPI reporting
  • Provide support to new business through industry analysis and search landscape estimation
  • Regularly author POVs to ensure the team is up to date on the latest search trends and engine algorithm updates
  • Demonstrate outstanding performance in market, exceeding client expectations and KPIs through class-leading search programs

REQUIREMENTS

  • 6+ years of experience leading, executing, and planning both SEM/PPC as well as SEO campaigns
  • Able to put together and present integrated search strategy that includes elements of both SEO and SEM.
  • Have experience participating in pitches for new business and understand how to operationalize complex asks during the RFP process.
  • You should have experience interacting directly with clients, building relationships and seeing great campaigns executed and reported on flawlessly.
  • You should have experience managing and optimizing paid search campaigns across all major search engines. Experience in both SEO and SEM is a must.
  • Comfortable analysing high volumes of data
  • Certification in AdWords, Google Analytics and Bing is strongly encouraged.
  • Candidates should be free to travel as-needed to support the business.
  • Experience in pharma or healthcare is required.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $115,000 to $130,000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
