What you'll do

  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate physical function and mobility.
  • Provide hands-on treatment using techniques such as trigger point therapy and orthopedic rehabilitation.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in acute care, inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols, exercises, and self-management strategies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to track patient progress.
  • Participate in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions for patients moving from hospital to home or community care.
  • Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy practices and medical terminology.

Experience

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  • Demonstrated experience in acute care settings is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to patient care.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems for effective documentation and patient management.
  • Previous experience in both inpatient and outpatient clinic environments is advantageous.
  • Ability to develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
