The Labor Administrator is responsible for providing critical support for workforce administration, site access, and field operations, ensuring compliance with labor, safety, and training requirements. This position involves managing badging and site access, maintaining accurate employee and labor data, supporting field operations and reporting, tracking training and certifications, and collaborating with leadership across departments to drive continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction or labor-intensive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Badging / Site Access

  • Manage badging and site access for all departments and projects, including cross-company coordination where applicable.
  • Issue, activate, deactivate, and track badges across company entities.
  • Ensure compliance with project and client-specific access requirements and maintain accurate badge records.
  • Conduct periodic audits of active badges and coordinate the retrieval of credentials from terminated employees.

Field Operations & Project Support

  • Provide administrative and data entry support for workforce systems such as Resource Management, Dayforce, and BRIQ.
  • Maintain accuracy of employee and labor data weekly; troubleshoot system issues as they arise.
  • Process field supply orders and coordinate with procurement or warehouse staff as needed.
  • Support operations with daily data entry and reporting (Building 18)
  • Support field coordination by managing overflow tasks and assisting with additional operational needs as required.
  • Conduct callouts and provide notifications to project supervision as needed.
  • Maintain Labor Management and SharePoint site and ensure documentation is current and accurate.

Training & Compliance Tracking

  • Send monthly training notifications related to safety, core compliance, and California-specific requirements.
  • Track completion and maintain records of all required certifications, orientations, and safety training.
  • Verify that all new hires and rehires complete required training before accessing the jobsite.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Partner with field leadership, safety, HR, and project teams to maintain compliance with labor and access requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to workforce data accuracy, reporting, and system integration.
  • Provide backup and administrative support for other labor coordinators or field operations staff as needed.
  • Assist with special projects, audits, or reporting as assigned by leadership.
  • Perform assigned tasks and any other duties as directed by the Senior Director of Field Operations Excellence.

Union & Labor Compliance

  • Support craft onboarding, including verification of union status, training, and eligibility.
  • Assist with apprentice evaluations and track compliance with apprenticeship program requirements.

Front Desk

  • Perform light front desk duties, including greeting visitors, checking them in, and notifying the appropriate staff of their arrival.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail in all tasks and responsibilities.
  • Follow up with directors proactively, demonstrating urgency and persistence to ensure tasks are completed.
  • 2–5 years of experience in labor administration, construction compliance, or workforce coordination.
  • Working knowledge of union dispatching and collective bargaining agreement compliance.
  • Exhibit strong organizational abilities, effective data management, and clear communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS or ERP systems (e.g., Dayforce, BRIQ, Procore) preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with training and safety compliance

PAY TRANSPARENCY:

The starting salary for this opportunity range is listed. Other rewards may include annual bonus eligibility based on company and individual performance, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards.
