This position will support both orthopedic rehabilitation and the Wholebody program, delivering personalized physical therapy and functional testing using technologies such as VALD systems, DEXA, and VO₂Master.

Position Summary:

The Physical Therapist will deliver one-on-one, 45-minute treatment sessions in a modern clinical environment designed for precision, data-driven care, and meaningful patient connection.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care & Rehabilitation

• Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Deliver 1:1, 45-minute sessions focusing on manual therapy, corrective exercise, and movement retraining.
• Educate patients on posture, ergonomics, and injury-prevention strategies.
• Document patient progress and modify plans based on outcomes and performance metrics.
• Collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons, clinical staff, and the Wholebody team to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain the highest standards of patient experience consistent with Commons Clinic's concierge care model.

Wholebody Assessment & Performance Testing

• Conduct movement and strength testing using VALD force plates, dynamometry, and jump analysis systems.
• Administer and interpret VO₂ Max treadmill testing, metabolic screenings, and DEXA body composition scans.
• Collect and analyze biometric data (e.g., body composition, heart rate variability, wearable metrics such as Oura or CGM).
• Educate patients on test results, recovery optimization, and ongoing performance goals.
• Ensure testing accuracy, smooth workflow, and excellent patient engagement throughout assessments.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current California Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong foundation in human movement, biomechanics, and exercise prescription.
• Excellent communication skills and commitment to a high-touch, patient-centered experience.
• Interest or experience in sports performance, metabolic testing, or preventive health.
• Passion for innovation, teamwork, and data-informed clinical care.
