Senior Office Assistant – Public Health Clinic

Join our team at the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department and be the friendly face and voice of our Public Health Clinic This role keeps our clinic running smoothly by supporting patient registration, check-out, billing, and medical records.

What You'll Do:

  • Greet patients and answer questions in person and by phone with professionalism and care.
  • Manage patient records and data using electronic medical systems.
  • Perform filing, scanning, word processing, and other clerical tasks.
  • Protect confidential information and support clinic operations.
  • Operate office equipment like computers, scanners, copiers, and debit machines.

Candidate who are fluent in English and Spanish, Arabic, Kurdish, Vietnamese, or Karen languages are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications: Graduation from high school or equivalent and six months of experience in an office setting; or any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the desirable knowledge, abilities, and skills.

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Hours; Full Time, 40 hours per week. Hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. with early evenings and weekends possible. For benefit information related to this position, click on the Benefits tab.
