Job Description:

Senior Data & Integrations Engineer / Business Analyst

Shape real solutions. Build what matters. Grow without ceilings.

The Story

At Equivant, we build technology that matters. Our Northpointe Suite platform powers justice and public safety organizations across the country, supporting the work of those who keep communities safe.

This isn't your typical developer role. We're looking for someone who thrives where business meets technology - someone who can listen, challenge, and refine customer needs, then turn those conversations into production-ready solutions.

You'll be joining a high-performing Data & Integrations team made up of experienced engineers and analysts who bring deep expertise to complex integration problems. It's an environment where learning from smart, accomplished peers is part of the job, and where your contributions will have a

visible impact.

We're also part of Volaris, a global family of software companies that actively encourages innovation, including hands-on AI experimentation in real-world products and workflows. That means you won't just build integrations; you'll have opportunities to learn, explore, and innovate with AI as part of your craft.

With no ceiling on growth, this is a place where your career can stretch as far as your curiosity.

What You'll Do

  • Partner directly with customers to capture, refine, and translate requirements into clear integration designs and user stories.
  • Build robust integrations and data migrations using C#, SQL Server, and REST APIs (CSV, XML, structured pipelines).
  • Shape solutions and deliver them, guiding both the technical design and execution.
  • Represent equivant in technical discussions, spotting gaps and steering customers toward smart, sustainable outcomes.
  • Modernize and enhance legacy integrations for long-term stability and performance.
  • Explore and apply AI tools and techniques to accelerate and improve how we build.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in backend development and systems integration.
  • Expertise in C#, Microsoft SQL, data mapping, and REST APIs.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills…you can bridge business and technical worlds with ease.
  • Experience distilling complex requirements into clear, actionable Jira stories or similar.
  • A curious, growth-oriented mindset and interest in exploring AI-driven development.

Why You'll Love Working Here

  • Real Impact: Your work supports critical justice operations nationwide.
  • Growth Without Ceilings: As part of Volaris, we offer unparalleled career mobility.
  • Smart Team: Collaborate with talented, passionate people who push each other to grow.
  • Innovation Culture: We actively explore and integrate AI into our work and products.
  • Autonomy & Voice: Your insights shape solutions, not just implement them.
  • Challenging & Rewarding Work: No cookie-cutter projects here.

If you're a builder and problem-solver who thrives on learning, innovation, and making a real-world impact, this may be the best role you haven't applied for yet.
