Overview

We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing inventory, operating heavy equipment, and supporting warehouse distribution processes. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help ensure smooth operations, accurate order fulfillment, and safe handling of materials.

Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory control using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to track stock levels accurately.
  • Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, to load, unload, and move materials safely.
  • Assist with shipping & receiving activities, including loading and unloading trucks and preparing shipments for dispatch.
  • Perform stocking, picking & packing orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for order fulfillment.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and participate in cycle counts to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Support manufacturing or construction-related tasks by handling materials with mechanical knowledge and heavy lifting techniques.
  • Follow OSHA safety standards diligently while operating equipment and handling materials in the warehouse environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in inventory management systems (such as AS400) and warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Valid certifications for forklift operation, or similar machinery are highly preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of packaging, order picking, shipping & receiving processes.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently; experience with pallet jacks or other material handling equipment is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with experience in inventory control and warehouse distribution processes.
  • Previous experience in warehouse supervision or leadership roles is advantageous but not required.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse safety is essential.
