This role involves a variety of tasks including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and general upkeep. What you'll do

  • Perform routine maintenance such as changing light bulbs, cleaning windows, and maintaining landscaping.
  • Conduct repairs, including fixing leaks, repairing floors, and addressing electrical issues.
  • Inspect and diagnose maintenance problems to determine appropriate repair solutions.
  • Install, replace, and maintain equipment and fixtures as needed.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and clients regarding work completed, issues identified, and requests received.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and issues encountered.
  • Collaborate with contractors and other tradespeople when necessary.

Basic qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical stamina to perform heavy labor (must be able to lift/move 10+ lbs., bend, squat, kneel, and twist).
  • Attention to detail and ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Familiarity with common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in residential painting to enhance facility aesthetics.
  • Background in manufacturing environments is a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with prior supervising experience.

Pay Rate: $10.00 – $12.00 per hour, depending on experience/after training.
