**Job Overview**

We are seeking a friendly and organized Counter Representative to join our team at All Seasons Garment Care, a reputable drycleaners. The Counter Representative plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and managing day-to-day operations at the front counter. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a customer-first attitude.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with dropping off and picking up their drycleaning orders.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries regarding services, pricing, and order status.
  • Accurately input customer information and garment details into the computer system.
  • Tag, inspect, and sort incoming garments for cleaning or special treatments.
  • Provide customers with information on garment care, stains, and recommended services.
  • Assist customers in the laundromat when needed
  • Process payments, issue receipts, and handle cash transactions accurately.
  • Manage customer accounts and ensure order accuracy and completeness.
  • Resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front counter and lobby area.
  • Assist with other duties such as folding, packaging, and organizing garments as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school education
  • Previous experience in customer service or retail environment preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in computer operations and basic software applications.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling customer orders and payments.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Flexibility to work weekends or evenings based on business needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $18.00 per hour
