About The Sales Development Representative - Digital Ads
MarketStar is looking for a motivated Outbound Sales Representative (SDR) to represent our client,  a cloud-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) company that provides tools for customer relationship management (CRM), IT service management (ITSM), and e-commerce marketing. In this role, you will engage with potential customers through outbound calls, emails, and other communication channels to generate leads, qualify prospects, and close sales.

What Will You Do?

  • Develop and close a pipeline of leads, contributing to the company's growth and success.
  • Make outbound calls, send emails, and use social media to contact potential customers.
  • Identify and qualify sales leads through research and interaction.
  • Manage leads, secure business, and meet monthly and quarterly KPIs.
  • Showcase a comprehensive understanding of the clients product suite, effectively shortening the sales cycle using selected sales methodologies.
  • Act as a product and service advocate, generating interest and awareness of the client's value proposition.
  • Prioritize and manage a pipeline of sales opportunities, ensuring timely follow-ups and tracking progress.
  • Implement effective sales strategies to convert leads into paying customers.
  • Provide robust account management to support customers' technology strategies, implementations, and future needs.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team and clients to develop strategies and processes that achieve revenue targets.

What Will You Need to Succeed?

  • 12+ months of experience as an Outbound/Outside Sales in the SaaS/IT Services sector for mid-market to enterprise sales, or 6-12 months in B2B sales as an individual contributor.
  • Experience with a software vendor in the SaaS or system integrator space is highly desirable.
  • Strong skills in prospecting, discovery, demonstration, and closing.
  • High sales aptitude, solution-oriented mindset, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experience.
  • Collaborative, results-driven, and proven ability to excel in a team environment.
  • Tech-savvy with a keen interest in innovative and emerging technologies.
  • Self-sufficient, adaptable professional, capable of multitasking in a dynamic setting.
  • Ability to clearly articulate technical and business value propositions via phone and email.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with outstanding sales presence and presentation abilities.
  • Determination to learn and be coached with a positive attitude and openness to receive constructive feedback.
