As a Security Officer - Aero/Defense Front Desk in Aurora, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal in an aerospace and defense environment, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and staff, helping to create a welcoming and secure-related atmosphere. Your role involves managing access control, assisting guests, and providing exceptional customer service. You will utilize technology such as computers or tablets to support operations, while embodying our values of reliability, teamwork, and integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of an aerospace and defense location.
• Monitor access control at the front desk, verifying identification and credentials for individuals entering the facility.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, making notifications as needed according to site protocols.
• Assist with visitor management, including registering guests, issuing badges, and maintaining visitor logs.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, following established protocols and guidance from Allied Universal and site leadership.
• Maintain a professional and welcoming presence while helping to deter unauthorized activity at the front desk.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with site personnel, Allied Universal management, and emergency responders as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
