Summary: The MIS Intern is responsible for providing extraordinary customer service to end users within the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties as assigned.

* Provide support and maintenance for all IT applications.

* Develop ad-hoc reports on an as needed basis.

* Assist in development, testing, and deployment of any new development or maintenance efforts.

* Assist in the development of interfaces.

* Perform relational database management systems work as needed.

* Assist in the installation of software patches, service packs, and updates.

* Utilize software tools for documentation and communication.

* Cooperate in the development of and adherence to high quality standards and goals.

* Writes or revises user training manuals and procedures.

* Develops training materials and trains users on software, hardware and handheld equipment on-site or in classroom.

* Act as liaison between MIS and other Martin's business units.

* Adheres to and enforces safety, food safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices regulations.

* Provide on-call support on an as needed basis.

Education/Experience:

* High School Diploma or GED;

* Currently attending accredited institution pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
