Essential Job Duties

The Project Controls Specialist 4 is responsible for advanced project control functions, including comprehensive planning, scheduling, and cost management for large-scale projects. They lead project teams, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and implement risk management strategies to optimize project performance

Essential Functions

  • Develop and manage complex project schedules and budgets
  • Conduct in-depth cost analysis and forecasting
  • Lead value engineering studies and risk assessments
  • Oversee project control activities to ensure efficiency and compliance

Team Leadership

  • Mentor and guide junior project controls staff
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and stakeholders to align project goals
  • Facilitate communication across project teams

Financial Oversight

  • Ensure accuracy in financial reporting and budget management
  • Monitor project expenditures and implement corrective actions as needed

Reporting and Documentation

  • Prepare detailed reports for senior management and stakeholders
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation and records

Strategic Planning

  • Contribute to the development of project control policies and procedures
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies Project Coordination
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure project alignment with organizational goals
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate project meetings

Risk Management

  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies
  • Analyze potential risks and their impact on project timelines and budgets

Performance Tracking

  • Monitor project performance metrics and KPIs
  • Provide insights and recommendations for project improvements

Compliance and Standards

  • Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations
  • Maintain compliance with industry standards and best practices

Technology Utilization

  • Utilize project management software and tools for scheduling and reporting
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and methodologies in project controls

Continuous Improvement

  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the project controls team

Qualifications
Required Qualification:- Years of Experience/Education/Certificates/Training:

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business Administration or related fields.
  • Eleven or more (11+) years of related full-time paid experience.

Wage Requirement

  • Starting Salary range for this job is $209, $239, The starting salary will be commensurate with skill, education, experience, and working environment
