Marketing Specialist

New Wave Design is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Specialist to join our growing team. The Marketing Specialist will play a crucial role in the tactical execution of the company's marketing strategy by driving brand awareness through marketing campaigns, digital content generation, monitoring analytics data, and supporting the overall sales effort. This role requires a blend of creative thinking, analytical skills, and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest marketing trends and technologies. The position reports to the VP, Sales & Marketing.
Salary Range: $70,100.00-$99,800.00

Requirements:
Campaign Management:
- Plan, execute, and monitor marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, email, industry event, and traditional media
- Support development and management of marketing budgets and campaign timelines.
- Analyze campaign performance and provide recommendations for optimization.
Content Creation:
- Work collaboratively with outside consultants to create engaging and informative content for marketing materials, including website copy, blog posts, social media posts, email newsletters, and marketing collateral.
- Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and messaging.
- Manage the backend of the New Wave Design company website via Wordpress, including development of new pages, addition of thought leadership content and managing product pages.
Social Media Management:
- Work internally to develop and implement social media content to increase brand awareness and engagement with current and prospective customers.
- Manage social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling, and community management.
- Monitor social media trends and analytics, specifically LinkedIn. Provide regular briefings to department and company leadership regarding this data.
Email Marketing:
- Develop and execute email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and drive conversions.
- Manage email lists and segmentation.
- Analyze email campaign performance and optimize for results.
- Experience with Mailchimp or similar email marketing campaign tools.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, and engineering to ensure alignment and input to marketing initiatives.
- Work with external vendors and agencies as required.
SEO/SEM:
- Assist with SEO/SEM efforts by regular engagement with outside digital marketing consultants to understand keyword research, content optimization, and monitoring campaign performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a marketing role.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, WordPress, Salesforce, Mailchimp, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Creative and results-oriented mindset.
- Strong knowledge of current social media trends.
- Basic knowledge of SEO/SEM.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the aerospace and defense Industry.
- Experience with graphic design and AI-enabled productivity tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
Physical Parameters:
- Must be able to lift and carry 20 pounds.
- Must have finger and wrist dexterity with repetitive motion
