We are looking for an experienced Assistant Housekeeping Manager. Must have housekeeping and supervisory experience.

To work with the staff and control the daily activities of the Housekeeping Department assuring that our Guest Rooms, Public Areas, and Employee Areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness. Responsible for handling guest interactions and issues in a timely manner. Conducts Performance Evaluations and disciplines staff when needed. Works directly with General Manager and Housekeeping Manager to ensure proper staffing levels. Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, and coach all employees in the Hotel's Housekeeping Department to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met. Assures financial goals of the Housekeeping department are met. This role has direct contact with guests and as such good communication skills are a necessity. This position does require an applicant with a flexible schedule, able to work morning/afternoon shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Job Summary

The Housekeeping Manager will oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring cleanliness and orderliness are maintained throughout the facility. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage a team of housekeeping staff effectively.

Duties

- Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and guidelines to ensure high standards of cleanliness

- Train, supervise, and schedule housekeeping staff

- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards

- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment

- Coordinate with other departments to meet guest needs and requests

- Handle guest complaints or issues related to housekeeping services

Requirements

- Proven experience in housekeeping management or a similar role

- Knowledge of floor care, industrial cleaning, and custodial practices

- Strong leadership and organizational skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

- Experience in hospitality, hotel management, or related field is a plus
