Job Title: Shop Assistant

As a shop assistant you will assist the owner in preparing and packaging products to get ready to ship. You will need to be detail oriented and can stay focused during repetitive tasks. The schedule is flexible Monday - Saturday roughly hours per week. Must keep up with demand needs.

What you'll do

  • Label product bottles and cans.
  • Fill supply bags.
  • Fill product bottles and cans. This will require a steady hand.
  • Must be comfortable wearing a respirator and gloves as we will be working with auto body and paint products.
  • Must be comfortable working in hot and cold environments as the shop is fairly heated and cooled but will still be cold in the winter and hot in the summer.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot mechanical issues and optimize production processes.
  • Utilize equipment effectively for filling cans and sealing bottles.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking materials as needed.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to manufacturing processes and products being sold.
  • Possibility of operating a camera for live streaming demonstrations.

Basic qualifications

  • Reliable to work hard and show up on time.
  • Can take ownership of job roll and keep inventory at a healthy stock.
  • Ability to set a schedule and stick to it.
  • Trustworthy.
  • Steady hand and attention to detail.

Preferred qualifications

  • Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
  • Experience using hand tools and power tools effectively.
