Job Summary

Totoritas Peruvian Restaurant team looks for servers who will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests In this vibrant environment, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch customer service, ensuring food safety, and creating memorable moments for every patron. Your culinary knowledge and passion for hospitality will shine as you engage with guests and collaborate with kitchen staff to deliver an unforgettable dining experience. Servers must be bilingual as our customers widely speak English and Spanish.

What you'll do

• Greet and seat guests with enthusiasm, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using Microsale POS systems.
• Provide detailed menu knowledge to assist guests in making informed choices, including upselling specials and pairings.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages while maintaining high standards of presentation.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest inquiries or concerns promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and adhering to sanitation standards.
• Process payments accurately through cash handling and basic math skills, ensuring a seamless checkout experience.
• Uphold food safety protocols during food preparation and service to guarantee guest health and satisfaction.

Basic qualifications

• Bilingual (English and Spanish)
• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is essential.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.

Preferred qualifications

• Familiarity with food handling regulations and sanitation practices is highly desirable.
• Previous experience as a host/host or in guest services will give you an edge.
