Role Description

The Teen Coordinator/Academic Support role is a part-time, on-site position located in Ventura, CA. The individual will be responsible for organizing and overseeing teen programs, assisting with academic support, and developing engaging educational activities. Day-to-day tasks include mentoring teens, coordinating academic resources, providing homework help, and collaborating with staff to implement creative programs that meet educational and personal development goals. The role requires fostering a positive and supportive environment for teens to thrive.

Qualifications

  • Experience and skills in Education and Curriculum Development
  • Strong Communication abilities to engage effectively with teens, parents, and staff
  • Expertise in Academic Advising and the ability to provide personalized guidance
  • Capability to conduct Research to create and adapt impactful learning materials
  • Passion for working with youth and building meaningful relationships
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Experience working in a mentorship, teaching, or youth-focused role is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, or a related field is a bonus
