MOLD MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

JOB SUMMARY:

TH Plastics, Inc., a custom injection molder serving the appliance and automotive industries, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual for the following position in our Bowling Green, Ohio Molding Division.

JOB OVERVIEW:

Responsible for maintaining any tools with preventative maintenance and repair. Provide a support function for manufacturing and maintenance.

WORK SCHEDULE:

  • 2nd Shift 2:30PM – 10:50PM

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Journeyman level machinist or mold technician equivalent experience.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Must be self-motivated, work well independently and have excellent time management skills
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in Injection Molding is a plus
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills to work with all members of the team

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Effectively be able to perform general and major mold maintenance.
  • Confirm that the completion of mold storage and requirements have been met and maintained.
  • Complete preventative maintenance on molds and documentation of the PM.
  • Effectively work with metal and non-metals.
  • Interpret blue prints, schematics and symbols.
  • Understand basic mechanics, lubricants, bearing, pumps and power transmission equipment.
