Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated EEC Certified Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children. The Teacher will collaborate with parents and staff to ensure the best educational experience for each child.

Duties

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that foster learning through play and exploration.
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all students, including those with disabilities.
  • Monitor and assess children's progress in various developmental areas, including social skills, language, and motor skills.
  • Provide individualized support to children with special needs or those requiring additional assistance.
  • Engage children in activities that promote their understanding of basic concepts such as numbers, letters, colors, and shapes.
  • Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures.
  • Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience for students.

Experience

  • A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience working with birth to age 5 children in a childcare or educational setting is highly desirable.
  • MA EEC Toddler Certification is required.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices is essential.
  • Familiarity with infant care, toddler care, and special education techniques is a plus.
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with children, parents, and colleagues.
