LTL & FTL Dispatcher

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented LTL & FTL Dispatcher who is familiar with FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) shipments to join our growing team. This individual will play a key role in coordinating freight movement, quoting clients, and ensuring smooth operations across all shipments. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to analyze data, and proficiency in various transportation management systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and dispatch LTL and FTL shipments, including FBA deliveries to Amazon fulfillment centers.
• Communicate with drivers, carriers, and customers to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and resolve any service issues.
• Quote accurate and competitive freight rates to clients based on market conditions and carrier pricing.
• Negotiate and confirm rates with carriers and manage booking details.
• Maintain shipment data and documents within the Transportation Management System (TMS).
• Monitor carrier compliance, insurance, and safety requirements.
• Optimize routes and carrier assignments for efficiency and cost savings.
• Handle daily documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOLs), Proof of Delivery (PODs), and invoicing coordination.
• Provide excellent customer service and proactive communication to clients and team members.
• Provide exceptional phone etiquette while handling inquiries and resolving issues.
• Collaborate with 3PL partners to streamline logistics processes.

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in freight dispatching (LTL/FTL) or logistics coordination.
• Experience handling FBA (Amazon Fulfillment) shipments is strongly preferred.
• Familiar with U.S. freight lanes, load boards, and carrier networks.
• Strong negotiation, rate quoting, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and TMS systems.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Chinese) a plus but not required.
