Defense Mission Professional, Lead

Key Role:

Provide senior military experience, knowledge, and insight to support global military operations. Integrate science and technology to conduct mission analysis and planning for sensitive missions. Apply leading-edge principles, doctrine, and concepts, and contribute to the development of new approaches and operational concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision, and mentor or supervise employees in both company and technical competencies.

Basic Qualifications:

• 11+ years of experience working with the Department of Defense (DoD) or security agency
• Experience with military operations, planning, and exercises at the combatant command, component or senior command, and staff levels
• Experience integrating science and technology to solve problems
• Knowledge of Joint Targeting or Joint Planning
• Knowledge of WMD, underground facilities, or hard and deeply buried targets
• Ability to think critically, solve complex problems, and collaborate with others
• Ability to lead people, take on challenges, and drive work forward
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
• Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

• Ability to grow those around you, receive and adapt to feedback, and provide value to your teammates through hard work and dedication
• Possession of excellent critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
• Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred; Doctorate degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field a plus
• Project Management Professional, Prosci, or Lean Six Sigma Certification

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198, annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
