Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front Desk Agent to join our team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensuring their needs are met throughout their stay. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a crucial role in enhancing their experience at our establishment.

Duties

  • Greet and check-in guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Manage reservations and handle guest inquiries regarding accommodations, amenities, and local attractions.
  • Process check-outs efficiently while addressing any guest concerns or requests.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions using multi-line phone systems.
  • Conduct night audits as required to ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Provide exceptional guest services by anticipating needs and resolving issues promptly.
  • Uphold hotel policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality of guest information.

Skills

  • Strong background in hospitality management or hotel management is preferred.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse guests.
  • Proven experience in customer service, particularly in front desk operations within a hotel or resort setting.
  • Familiarity with night audit procedures is an advantage.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems.
  • Ability to build rapport with guests through effective guest relations skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for hospitality and commitment to providing outstanding service.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $14.00 per hour
