Dacotah Foundation is seeking Part Time, Mental Health Technicians to work in a variety of mental health and/or chemical dependency treatment programs.

Job Duties

Job duties include, but not limited to: monitoring the safety and activities of clients in residential facilities, assisting clients in pursuing their personal goals, monitoring psychiatric symptoms, documenting client activities, collaborating efforts and interventions with co-workers and case managers, assisting with daily activities of living, coaching or teaching skills to create independence, building a therapeutic relationship to provide emotional support, and intervening in crisis response as needed. All the individuals we serve are capable of independent cares, no lifting or personal hygiene services are required.

Training

All training is provided and paid. Within the first 1-2 months of employment you will become a Registered Nursing Assistant, a Medication Aide 1 through the state of ND, CPR and 1st Aide certified among many other relevant trainings for the position. After training is completed there will be an automatic raise from $15.50 to $17.00 per hour. There is also a $0.50 shift differential on weekends and $1.50 shift differential for overnight shifts.

Requirements

Must have a high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record. Criminal background checks are required.

Shifts

We have shorter 2-3 hour shifts in both morning and evening available as well as standard 8 hour shifts of 7a-3p, 3p-11p, and 11p-7a available.

Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday both on the same weekend/same shift) are required of all staff on a regular set rotation. Holiday rotation is also required.
