Schneider Electric USA, Inc. seeks a Manufacturing Program Manager in Franklin, TN.
Job Description: This position is responsible for leading strategic industrial manufacturing programs and projects. In fulfilling this responsibility, the position fulfills the following job duties: Work closely with the program sponsor and manufacturing program management team to define the objectives, create a plan, and execute the plan. Collaborate with the program management team in developing and managing the program management plan within the constraints established and approved by the program sponsor. Implement and enforce change control over program scope, schedule, resources, and budget. Negotiate with functional managers and organizational management to obtain adequate resources with appropriate skills to staff the program team. Ensure timely resolution of issues, including the escalation of issues that are outside the program team's scope of responsibility. Continually identify and proactively analyze program risks and issues, ensure execution of corrective action plans up to closure. Monitor the program and report the status to management on a regular basis. Eligible for remote work up to 2 days/wk. Position requires 25% travel (amount can vary dependent on project) to SE sites and suppliers to review production lines, components, and processes.
Requirements: Position requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Engineering (any), Management, or related field and 18 months of experience in manufacturing operations, upstream planning, or related occupation, which must include at least some education or experience in the following skills: ETO (Engineer to Order) manufacturing environment operations; Manufacturing Industrial Low/Medium voltage Equipment and circuit breakers; Evaluating product costs; Manufacturing operations (manufacturing, automation, upstream planning or quality areas); Program management (as team member or leader); Problem solving internal and external issues using different tools in order to implement corrective and preventative actions; and Reviewing, developing and implementing PFMEA's, process control plans and poka-yoke opportunities.
