Sr Director, Information Technology

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Oversee SAP initiatives spanning across end-to-end business areas.
  • Collaborate with the ERP teams to prioritize and execute SAP initiatives.
  • Apply ERP software expertise to foster best in class solutions across multiple business areas.
  • Demonstrate exceptional expertise and leadership related to SAP.
  • Help drive complex cross functional solutions for unusually significant situations, working across SAP, Datawarehouse, and integration technology landscapes.
  • Work with third party vendors and contractors as needed for major projects, maintain oversight on all project related expenses and budget.
  • Independently and effectively organize and manage multiple assignments with challenging timelines.
  • Demonstrable ability to make decisions and collaborate efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership characteristics within the group and broader IT organization. Coach and mentor other individual contributors on technologies and business processes.
  • Serve as delivery lead on large transformational SAP projects. Leverage prior experience to provide direction to both functional and technical resources, helping match work efforts to individuals.
  • Help the organization by leading strategic initiatives tightly aligned with departmental goals and measures. Serve as the spokesperson to senior management for these specialized programs and projects.
  • Interacts internally and externally with executive level management, requiring negotiation of extremely critical matters. Influences policymaking. As a visionary leader with focus on long-term growth, communicates and fosters a common vision for the division.
  • Play a broader IT leadership role to help with globalization of IT, managed services and strategic vendor relationships.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS/MS degree in Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or an IT/Order Management related subject.
  • 15+ years of experience in IT working with business systems.
  • 10+ years of diversified leadership, planning, communication, organization and people motivation skills.
  • 10+ years of SAP Experience required, with at least 3 years' experience with S/4. Experience with at least 3 implementations or upgrades.
  • A solid track record of managing a complex enterprise ERP environment.
  • Additional high-level knowledge of SAP applications such as GTS, BTP, Commerce Cloud. Knowledge of BDC a plus.
  • Demonstrated delivery lead capabilities for SAP program and initiatives.
  • Data-driven decision maker, able to effectively communicate abstract/complex interactions of systems, processes and people.
  • Able to establish effective working relationships with various levels in the organization and has the influence to drive team players to action and commitment.
  • Great organizational skills and experience working in Agile environments. Ability to pivot quickly when core strategies and plans change.
  • Experience in managing budgets and overseeing a manage service provider and vendors, including SAP.

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $204,000 to $280,500.

  • Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
  • This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
