The Farm & The Odd Fellows is seeking an experienced and service-oriented Hops Lead to manage and mentor the Hops Crew. The ideal candidate will lead by example, delegate effectively, and ensure all operational tasks are completed to the highest standard.

Responsibilities:

  • Educating guest on beer/wine/cocktail/menu choices
  • Guest introduction to Tap Wall
  • Bus tables
  • Kitchen responsibilities; Following recipes, Food Running, Prep Checklist, Clean up
  • Filling Growlers/U-Kegs per ABC codes (Must be age appropriate)
  • Trash & recycling
  • Following the checklists; Hops/Bartending Opening/Closing Checklist, Kitchen Clean-up Checklist, Hops Kitchen Prep Checklist, Sunday Cleaning Check
  • Closing reports/cash drawer
  • Able to lift 25lbs.
  • Event set up/tear down
  • Ability to train for bartending shifts if approved (Must be age appropriate)
  • Lead by example and delegate shift responsibilities.
  • Oversee and verify the completion of checklists (opening, closing, cleaning, and prep).
  • Phase out crew members and verify closing reports and cash drawer accuracy.
  • Change non-beer kegs on the Tap Wall as needed.
  • Manage merchandise inventory on a monthly basis.
  • Train new Hops Crew members.
  • Handle management overrides and voids.
  • Communicate with the Hops Crew through Telegram or other channels.

  • Previous leadership experience in a craft beer or hospitality environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
