Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive / light truck Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive/ diesel service and repair, with a focus on customer satisfaction and quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough inspections and diagnostics on vehicles to identify issues.
- Execute repairs and maintenance on automotive electrical systems, engines, transmissions, brakes, and other components.
- Utilize schematics to understand vehicle systems and troubleshoot problems effectively.
- Communicate with customers regarding service needs, repair options, and estimated costs.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used in accordance with dealership standards.
- Collaborate with other service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through ongoing training.
Experience
- Previous experience as a service technician or in a similar repair role is preferred.
- Proficiency in auto diagnosis and understanding of automotive repair processes is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills to effectively interact with clients and address their concerns.
- Familiarity with dealership operations is a plus, as well as experience working with various automotive brands.
- Ability to maintain high standards of quality while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
