The Staffing Manager is responsible for managing the staffing levels and exceptional staff quality of the daily operations at Boston Children's Hospital. The Staffing Manager's responsibilities and goals include always exceeding the expectations of the client and of patients and guests through their work. The Staffing Manager will work with Operations Managers to ensure that all team members are successful and thriving in their roles as support service members to the hospital.

Collaboration with other internal departments and client(s)

Essential Functions may include, but are not limited to:

Staffing Quality employees while ensuring compliance with organization policies and regulations

Manage all staffing and scheduling needs ensuring 100% authorized department hours are allocated appropriately

Maintain weekly and monthly hours scheduled Vs Utilized

Assist in recruitment and hiring processes

Assist in new hire procedures, including onboarding and training procedures

Collaborate with management to ensure accurate employee scheduling and time keeping

Education, Experience and Skills Required

Ability to organize and prioritize work.

Ability to effectively communicate with client and VPNE management

Experience with Time and Attendance software preferred (Ceridian Dayforce) and scheduling software (WhenToWork)

Be able to drive operational, marketing and financial strategies to ensure maximum service and profitability.

Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of employees, as well as motivate and provide constructive feedback

Computer literate including Word, Excel, and Outlook and ability to quickly learn new software

Function independently within company guidelines

Must be proactive, customer focused and responsive

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
