Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a passion for food and hospitality, and experience working in fast-paced restaurant environments. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction in a fine dining or casual setting. Prior experience with POS systems and food handling is preferred to deliver seamless service and uphold food safety standards.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
  • Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
  • Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
  • Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
  • Assist with food preparation and kitchen coordination when necessary
  • Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a positive guest relation experience
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
  • Assist with bussing tables, setting up dining areas, and supporting host/host duties as needed
  • Uphold sanitation standards by following proper food handling procedures

Skills

  • Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
  • Previous experience in fine dining or casual restaurant settings preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy hours
  • Ability to upsell menu items effectively to increase sales opportunities
  • Basic math skills for cashiering, billing, and managing transactions accurately
  • Experience in food industry roles such as serving, bartending, or host/host is advantageous
  • Knowledge of food preparation, kitchen operations, or nightclub service is a plus
  • Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
