Maintenance Helper

This role is perfect for someone who loves hands-on work, independence, and a positive team environment. 

What You'll Do 

• Perform general maintenance tasks — painting, minor plumbing, electrical, and  general home/office repair work. 
• Assist with light construction and remodeling projects. 
• Keep our buildings, group homes, and grounds looking great — mowing, weeding, snow removal, etc. 
• Maintain safe, comfortable homes for our individuals and assist with office or group home setups and moves. 
• Respond to occasional after-hours calls as part of an on-call rotation. 
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and high-quality standards across all C-NTA sites and company vehicles. 

What You'll Bring 

• A caring heart, a patient attitude, and a real passion for helping others feel comfortable in their home and workspace. 
• General maintenance experience. 
• Comfort working both indoors and outdoors in all seasons. 
• A valid PA driver's license and reliable transportation in and around the Johnstown and Somerset areas. 
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, flexibility, and a can-do attitude. 
• Ability to complete general maintenance work independently and timely without cutting corners. 
• An ability to?pass background checks and drug screening?which C-NTA?pays for you.?
