What You'll Do

• Develop a deep understanding of the product and customer workflows, championing quality practices that prioritize customer needs.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated tests (functional, performance, reliability) to ensure product quality and address test failures through root cause analysis.
• Lead collaboration across product teams and stakeholders to identify, diagnose, and resolve quality issues in development and production.
• Guide the team in creating comprehensive test plans and processes, aligning with quality metrics and continuous improvement goals.
• Provide quality-focused input during planning, estimation, and code reviews, ensuring test coverage and efficiency.
• Mentor engineers and interns in test automation, quality methods, and best practices, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Advocate for and drive cross-organizational quality initiatives, influencing system-wide improvements within the development lifecycle.

What You'll Need

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a similar role
• Experience with Object-Oriented Programming (e.g. Dart, Python, Go, Java, JavaScript)
• Expertise with automated testing tools (e.g. Puppeteer, Selenium)
• Experience with Docker or other container systems
• Expertise with web-based software products
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tooling (e.g. Jenkins)
• Adept at working in a potentially virtual team environment
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong critical-thinking, analytical, and problem solving skills
• Strong decision-making skills

Beneficial Skills or Experience:

• Experience with industry standard Quality Management Systems (e.g. ISO, Six-Sigma, TQM)
• Experience with industry standard software development processes (e.g. Behavior Driven Development (BDD), Test Driven Development (TDD))

How You'll Be Rewarded

Salary range in the US: $111, $178,000.00
