As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a large retail location, you will play a key role in creating a secure and welcoming environment. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the area, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious behaviors, security-related concerns, or incidents to appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or site management.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and/or restricted areas as needed.
• Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and irregularities observed during patrols.
• Support a welcoming environment for employees, customers, and visitors by providing assistance as needed and upholding site-specific rules.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
