W-Industries is currently seeking an Electrical Helper to support basic wiring and assembly work. This entry-level role is ideal for a reliable, safety-minded team member who's comfortable with a voltmeter, basic drawings, and hand tools. Basic hand tools preferred.

Requirements:

  • Use a voltmeter/multimeter to check for voltage and continuity (under supervision).
  • Read basic electrical drawings (DWGs).
  • Perform simple wiring/assembly tasks and organize parts, tools, and work areas.
  • Help with pre-test checks (labels, torque marks, visual inspections).
  • Follow safety procedures and instructions; communicate clearly with the team.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Can safely use a voltmeter/multimeter.
  • Basic ability to read DWGs/schematics.
  • Own basic hand tools (drivers, strippers, crimpers, etc.).
  • Electrical/wiring background (school, previous job, or hands-on experience).
  • Willing to work overtime when needed.
  • Speak and read English (follow written instructions, complete checklists).
  • Comfortable around live voltage and willing to follow PPE/lockout rules.

Required Experience & Education

  • 0-1 years of experience working as an electrical helper.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with the team and supervisor in English for safety and efficiency.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand (for extended periods of time), walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl and twist
  • Ability to sit, balance and climb ladders.
  • Ability to move in and around confined and cluttered places and uneven areas.
  • Ability to distinguish colors.
