About Us

Uncle Nick's Pizza is a locally owned and operated pizza shop serving the Port Charlotte community with high-quality, handcrafted pizzas made from fresh ingredients. We offer pick-up and delivery, operating with the speed and consistency of brands like Papa John's or Domino's—but with the personal touch of a small business. We are looking for an experienced pizza maker to join our team and help us continue delivering top-notch food and service.

Responsibilities

Pizza Production & Food Prep

  • Hand-stretch dough and prepare pizzas to order with accuracy and consistency
  • Cook pizzas using our standard procedures to ensure quality and speed
  • Prepare fresh toppings, sauces, dough, and other ingredients daily
  • Maintain portion control and follow all recipe standards

Kitchen Operations

  • Operate ovens, prep equipment, slicers, and other kitchen tools safely
  • Keep the prep area, make-line, and kitchen clean and organized
  • Follow food safety and sanitation standards (ServSafe a plus)

Customer Service & Teamwork

  • Communicate clearly with team members and management
  • Assist with order accuracy for pick-up and delivery
  • Support other stations as needed (boxing, cutting pizzas, answering phones, etc.)

Requirements

  • 1+ year of pizza-making experience (hand-tossed or similar fast-paced pizza operation preferred)
  • Strong understanding of dough handling, stretching, and topping placement
  • Ability to work quickly while maintaining high quality
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work nights and weekends
  • Able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for the duration of the shift
  • Positive attitude and team-focused mindset
