Position Overview:
As a Sales Engineering Intern, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our sales and engineering teams in delivering advanced electronic solutions to our defense customers. This internship offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced, high-tech environment, providing you with the opportunity to develop your technical and customer-facing skills while gaining valuable insights into the defense electronics industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support: Assist the sales engineering team in providing technical support to customers, including answering product-related questions, preparing technical documentation, and conducting product demonstrations.
Proposal Development: Collaborate with the sales and engineering teams to develop and refine technical proposals, ensuring they meet customer requirements and align with company capabilities.
Market Research: Conduct market research to identify potential customers, emerging trends, and competitive products within the defense electronics industry.
Customer Engagement: Participate in customer meetings, presentations, and technical discussions to better understand customer needs and assist in the development of tailored solutions.
Product Knowledge: Gain in-depth knowledge of [Company Name]'s product portfolio, including the technical specifications, applications, and benefits of each product.
Data Analysis: Assist in analyzing sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to support strategic decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
Project Management: Support ongoing sales engineering projects, helping to coordinate efforts between internal teams and ensuring timely delivery of solutions.
Qualifications:
Educational Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics, or a related field.
Technical Aptitude: Strong understanding of electronics, engineering principles, and technical problem-solving skills.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to a positive work culture.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
Interest in Defense Industry: A genuine interest in defense electronics and a desire to contribute to national security initiatives.
Proficiency in Tools: Familiarity with engineering software, CAD tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is preferred.
