Mission Critical Commissioning Program Manager

Location:
On-site | Dallas, TX

Our client is a fast-growing technology consultancy that partners with owners of mission-critical facilities - think hyperscale cloud campuses, research hospitals, and high-performance labs - to turn complex building data into actionable insight. As their Mission Critical Commissioning Program Manager, you will champion reliability from day one, unifying commissioning strategy across a portfolio of high-stakes projects while helping the organization scale nationally.

This Role Offers

  • Competitive base salary plus performance bonus, comprehensive medical coverage, 401(k) with match, and flexible PTO.
  • Direct influence on enterprise-class data-center buildouts and the chance to shape a best-in-class global Cx program.
  • A people-first culture that values innovation, ownership, and continuous learning.

Key Objectives

  • Standardize commissioning protocols and best practices across multiple concurrent projects, ensuring every site meets safety, performance, and uptime targets.
  • Synchronize schedules - bridge design, construction, and operations teams to keep commissioning on the critical path.
  • Lead external partners (Cx agents, vendors, specialty consultants) and validate deliverables against owner requirements and industry benchmarks.
  • Maintain live dashboards that track issue resolution, functional testing status, and close-out documentation for audit-ready handover.
  • Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and updating the global playbook after each project cycle.

Core Competencies & Experience

  • 8+ years managing commissioning or MEP projects for mission-critical facilities such as data centers, hospitals, or R&D labs.
  • Deep working knowledge of electrical and mechanical infrastructure - UPS, generators, switchgear, chillers, CRAH/CRAC, BMS/EPMS, etc.
  • Proven success juggling multiple projects and cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Exceptional communicator able to translate complex technical detail into clear, actionable plans for stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred Credentials

  • Certification in project management or construction, such as Certified Professional in Project Management or Certified Construction Professional.
  • Familiarity with Cx software platforms (e.g., CxAlloy, Facility Grid).
  • Knowledge of Uptime Institute Tier standards and integrated systems testing methodologies.
  • Demonstrated success overseeing multi-site or regional commissioning programs.

Culture Fit

You thrive on ownership, stay cool under pressure, and love turning data into decisions. A collaborative spirit, entrepreneurial mindset, and commitment to continuous improvement will set you up for success in this high-performance, mission-critical arena.
