Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time Clinical & Community Education Coordinator to oversee the clinical workflow and community education efforts of the Adult Program at our Woodland Hills center. This role is a key member of the Clinical Team and ensures that adult grievers receive consistent, trauma-informed, and ethically grounded care, from first contact through group participation and termination. This position bridges clinical coordination, program management, volunteer supervision, and community education, supporting both the clinical integrity of the Adult Program and OUR HOUSE's mission to educate the broader community about grief. Salary Range: 65,000-75,000, Bilingual in both English and Spanish is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Coordination & Care

  • Conduct Pre-Group Appointments (PGAs) in person and via Zoom to assess clinical fit, safety needs, and readiness for group participation.
  • Support adult grievers throughout their engagement with OUR HOUSE, including intake, waitlist management and group placement and coordination.
  • Occasionally facilitate grief support groups as part of training and coverage needs.
  • Participate in weekly Clinical Team meetings and individual clinical supervision with the Clinical Director.

Community Education & Training

  • Lead and collaborate on community education initiatives, including information sessions, professional trainings, workshops, medical education, agency's Grief Intensive Training and OUR HOUSE volunteer training.
  • Develop, update, and consolidate curricula, training materials, and resources to ensure best practices and consistency in community education offerings.

Volunteer Development & Support

  • Provide regular supervision, guidance, and case consultation to volunteer group leaders related to group dynamics, facilitation challenges, and safety concerns.

Program Operations & Collaboration

  • Oversee waitlist management to ensure equitable access and continuity of care for adult grievers.
  • Ensure adherence to clinical guidelines, confidentiality standards, safety protocols, and program policies.
  • Collaborate closely with Clinical, Operations, and Development teams to support cross-departmental initiatives and program growth.
  • Contribute to program innovation, trauma-responsive practices, and curriculum development.

Organizational Responsibilities

  • Submit bi-monthly clinical narratives to support Board reporting.
  • Participate in organization-wide initiatives, staff meetings, and strategic planning conversations.
  • Support onboarding of new staff and contribute to a culture of clarity, compassion, and accountability within the team.
  • Attend key agency events including the OUR HOUSE 5K, Volunteer Luncheon, House of Hope Gala and Camp Erin LA.

Qualifications

  • Education & Licensure: Master's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field required. Licensed or license-eligible.
  • Experience: 2–4 years post-graduate experience in bereavement and/or trauma-focused clinical work with adults.
  • Empathy & Clinical Judgment: Demonstrated ability to support grievers with sensitivity, compassion, and sound ethical judgment.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to engage diverse audiences. Spanish proficiency is a plus.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate complex workflows, and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
