Junior Consulting Manager

Advention Business Partners is an Entrepreneurial Strategy Consulting firm that assists corporations, private equity (and alternative) investment funds and their portfolio companies, and SMBs in their strategic decisions. We are looking for experienced managers and strategy consultants to contribute to and lead projects for our global clients. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, analyzing business challenges and providing unique perspectives. Often these topics are part of a commercial due diligence, a post-transaction value creation strategy, new market entry, or new product launch.

Our consultants deliver actionable recommendations, substantial and measurable performance improvements and critical insights through customized, factual based analysis.

Our main areas of strategic intervention include:

  • Assessment of investment opportunities / strategic reviews;
  • Corporate strategy recommendations;
  • Marketing and sales strategy recommendations;
  • Performance optimization strategies.

Although the workload can be heavy at times, consulting is a sociable profession with plenty of outlets to connect with your clients and teams on projects and beyond.

The projects you will be involved in and the tasks you are given depend on the specific projects, but general responsibilities include:

  • Supporting business development activities: assisting leadership in building, developing, and maintaining strong and significant relationships with new and existing contacts, prospects and accounts;
  • Designing teams / providing staffing recommendations to accomplish the project objectives;
  • Executing and overseeing project tasks including desk research, telephone and/or face-to-face interviews, site visits, Excel modeling, production of communication documents, etc.;
  • Joining for in-person collaboration sessions with project teams;
  • Working remotely, as needed;
  • Staying involved in related administrative tasks and global operations;
  • Participating in Company social activities (in the US and abroad);

You may be asked, in the frame of your responsibilities, to travel throughout the USA and abroad.

Qualifications and training required:

  • Minimum of five years' business experience;
  • Undergraduate (or graduate) degree in business, management, economics, mathematics or statistics;
  • Internship in a related field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110, $130,000.00 per year
