Pharma Construction Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update project trackers, spreadsheets, and cost reports for multiple ongoing construction and facility projects.
  • Support budget management, including cost tracking, purchase orders, and vendor invoice coordination.
  • Prepare and manage project documentation such as schedules, meeting notes, and financial summaries.
  • Coordinate with Facilities, Engineering, EHS, and external vendors to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Monitor progress, highlight risks or cost variances, and present updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure all documentation aligns with GMP and internal quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical or business discipline.
  • 5–10 years of experience supporting construction or capital projects in a pharmaceutical, biotech within GMP environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Smartsheet or MS Project (budgets, trackers, pivot tables) and other project management tools.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and vendor coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and maintain accurate reporting.

Preferred Background:

  • Experience with facility expansions, renovations, or utility upgrades within regulated industries.
  • Knowledge of capital project budgeting and reporting processes.
  • Familiarity with GMP site operations (labs, cleanrooms, or manufacturing spaces).
