What You'll Do:
As the Inside Sales Rep, you will act as liaison between customers and sales or production departments to ensure
customer and business goals are achieved.
Your Accountabilities in the Role:
• Handles and routes customer calls to the correct individuals providing excellent customer service.
• Follows up with customers to ensure satisfaction on orders, and inquiries about follow up orders and upsell.
• Inputs sales orders following the process, ensuring accuracy and that due dates can be met.
• Provides customer service in regard to checking stock, checking pricing, solving shipping errors and chasing
backorders in a polite and timely way.
• Updates ERP and Customer Profile information based on changes received.
• Contacts customers in the territory to ensure contacts have current flyers and information in a timely manner.
• Handles reoccurring or basic quotes, with direction and approval of the Business Development Manager.
• Provides service in a way that builds effective relationships, provides ongoing customer support, and influences continued sales and/or referrals along the way to grow sales.
Requirements:
• Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Experience: 2 + Years of Customer Service and Order Entry experience, in a manufacturing environment preferred. Ability to follow up on orders and inquire about follow up orders. (will train the right person with great work ethic and energy)
• Certification(s): N/A
• Functional Skills: Solid workflow, prioritizing, follow through, and organizing of large amounts of data; detail oriented yet good with customers; solid ability to problem solve and work with others to ensure orders are accurate and processed on time. Solid math and data comparison skills. Has technical ability to learn about products and pro-vide basic trouble-shooting information.
• Technology Aptitude/Skills: Strong skills in Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel., and data entry skills.
• Language Skills: Advanced verbal and written communication skills needed to communicate with all levels inside and outside the organization. Ability to effectively present technical information to others over the phone.
• Leadership/Behaviors: Supportive and customer focused; timely and responsive with a strong sense of urgency; flexible and adaptable; conceptual and forward thinking; ability to influence others to get orders moving forward. High attention to quality of work.

Other Important Information:
Position Salary: Salay is commensurate with proven expertise.
Reports To: Sales/Operations Manager
Core Hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Typical Work Week: M-F; some weekends or OT required (when applicable Hours per week
Direct Reports: 0
Work Conditions: Standard office environment with visits to production as needed.
Travel: Limited; less than 5%
