About the Role
Bohler's Mechanicsburg, PA office is seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer (Land Development) who is eager to learn, grow, and make a positive impact. In this role, you will work closely with engineers, designers, and project managers to bring exciting land development projects to life, including site planning, grading, utilities, and stormwater management. You will contribute to projects for well-known brands across commercial, residential, and mixed-use markets, all while laying the groundwork for a rewarding engineering career.
 
What You'll DoWork on a variety of land development projects, including commercial, residential, industrial, and mixed-use sitesPartner with experienced engineers and mentors to learn every stage of site design, from concept through constructionUse AutoCAD Civil 3D to create site layouts, grading plans, and utility designsResearch and interpret design manuals, zoning ordinances, and jurisdictional regulationsReview and address regulatory comments and assist with project redesigns as neededSupport the preparation of stormwater management reports and construction submittalsParticipate in professional and technical training through Bohler's Learning & Development programsAttend site visits to observe field conditions and coordinate with project teamsEngage in civic, professional, and business organizations to build your networkPerform other responsibilities in accordance with company policies and standards

What You'll BringBachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field0–1+ years of residential, commercial, or industrial site design and permitting experienceFamiliarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D (preferred; training provided if not yet proficient)Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamworkMotivation to take initiative and contribute to shared goalsEIT certification is helpful but not required#LI-Onsite
