Our Story

We started out as a small operation in California. In May 1969, we acquired four hospitals, some additional care facilities and real estate for the future development of hospitals. Over the years, we've grown tremendously in size, scope and capability, building a home in new markets over time, and curating those homes to provide a compassionate environment for those entrusting us with their care.

We have a rich history at Tenet. There are so many stories of compassionate care; so many "firsts" in terms of medical innovation; so many examples of enhancing healthcare delivery and shaping a business that is truly centered around patients and community need. ED Tech FT Nights Position Summary

The Emergency Dept Tech I holds shift accountability for providing care to patients in accordance with RN direction, physician direction, and recognized techniques, standards of practices and hospital policy and procedures in the emergency department and related areas.

This position will support all the facilities in the market as needed. May require prior experience with IV insertion, blood draws and placing 12 Lead ECG's.

THE ED TECH FT NIGHTS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.

MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent GED.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

One year of experience in as a nursing assistant; or in lieu of experience,

Current CNA certificate, or LNA license from the Arizona State Board of Nursing; or

Completed block one/first year of nursing school; or

Current EMT-B certification; or

Completion of formal PCA/T/ED Tech education program from an accredited institution.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Six months experience in a hospital or emergency room setting as a Unit Secretary, EMT or CNA.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or meet minimum experience requirements; CPR.

PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/REGISTRATION: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Emergency Medical Tech (EMT), CPR.
