Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant COTA

Looking for a Occupational Therapist Assistant that is self driven and is ready to make a difference. COTA is responsible for assisting the Occupational Therapist by providing rehabilitative therapy to patients upon completion of the evaluation and plan of care following all regulatory and clinical practice requirements.

This position reports to the Director of Rehabilitation Services and is supervised by an Occupational Therapist.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- All duties and responsibilities shall be performed as set forth in our established policies and procedures.
- Provide consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families, caregivers and other service providers related to the cognitive and/or physical disorders.
- Effectively communicates with supervisor and other health team members regarding patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans.
- Documents all regulatory and clinically required information in the electronic documentation system and maintains patient records according to company policy. Records treatment minutes for services provided per all regulatory and clinical requirements.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Must possess a current/ active Arizona License.
- Knowledge of the principles of COTA Scope of Practice.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate proficiently both orally and in writing in the English language.
Monday -Friday 8-4:30pm
