Description
The Director of Pricing and Insights will lead the design, execution, and continuous improvement of Leaf Home's pricing strategy, analytics, and insights functions. This role requires a highly analytical, strategic thinker with a strong business acumen and the ability to influence executive decision-making. The Director will oversee pricing optimization, market and competitive intelligence, and the development of data-driven insights that guide strategic expansion and profitability initiatives across markets nationwide.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Pricing Optimization

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive pricing strategies across all products and services to maximize profitability and competitiveness.
  • Oversee creation and maintenance of advanced pricing models and tools to drive consistent, data-backed decision-making.
  • Evaluate and refine pricing performance, identifying opportunities for margin improvement, revenue growth, and enhanced customer value.

Data Analytics & Business Insights

  • Direct the collection, integration, and analysis of data related to pricing, customer behavior, and market dynamics.
  • Develop and deliver high-impact dashboards and KPI reports to executive leadership, providing actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Partner with Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to ensure analytical accuracy and business alignment.

Market Expansion & Growth Strategy

  • Lead analytical assessments for geographic and product-line expansion opportunities, including market viability and competitive landscape analysis.
  • Identify emerging trends, customer segments, and regional opportunities to inform long-term growth planning.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support long-term strategic planning and execution.

Process Improvement & Automation

  • Drive continuous improvement in pricing and analytics processes, leveraging automation and advanced data tools to streamline reporting and insight generation.
  • Champion the use of analytics to enhance decision-making at all levels of the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in pricing strategy, financial analytics, or strategic planning, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven success leading pricing or commercial analytics functions within a multi-location or consumer-facing organization.
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Excel, or predictive analytics tools a plus.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across executive and operational teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into actionable business strategies.
