Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. You will manage the flow of guests in the restaurant, coordinate seating arrangements, and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for hospitality.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently.
  • Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area.
  • Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
  • Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Utilize POS systems effectively for managing reservations and guest interactions.
  • Uphold high standards of customer service in line with our hospitality values.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in customer service or food service is preferred.
  • Strong phone etiquette skills to handle reservations and inquiries professionally.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A passion for guest relations and creating memorable dining experiences.
  • Previous experience in hotel or restaurant settings is advantageous.
