Job Title: First Grade Teacher or Teacher's Aide

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced First Grade Teacher or Teacher's Aide (TA) to work closely with our classroom teacher and students. The role focuses on providing one-on-one and small-group support within a classroom environment to help children improve their skills across all core subjects, including reading, writing, math, and science.

Responsibilities:

Work one-on-one with students to reinforce lessons, provide extra guidance, and help them master subject matter.

Assist the classroom teacher in monitoring progress and adapting support to meet individual needs.

Support children in developing strong study habits, organizational skills, and self-confidence.

Help maintain a positive, encouraging, and structured classroom environment.

Communicate with teachers and staff regarding student progress and areas needing additional support.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of experience working with children in a classroom or educational support setting (elementary level preferred).

Having bachelor's degree in education (or related field) required; Master's degree preferred.

Having Teaching credentials or certification is a plus, but not required.

Strong understanding of early childhood development and first-grade curriculum standards.

Ability to provide individualized support to students while fostering confidence and academic growth.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents.

Patient, nurturing, and committed to helping each child reach their potential.

Position type: Part-Time: Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM.

Location: Los Angeles, CA, 90212

Pay: $25.00 per hour.
