Position Overview – Shop Operations Manager

We're seeking a highly organized, experienced, and leadership-oriented Shop Operations Manager to oversee daily shop operations, support front-of-house sales, ensure workflow efficiency, and help deliver an exceptional client experience.

This role is ideal for someone who has at least 2 years of automotive detailing AND management experience, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in keeping a shop running smoothly, profitably, and professionally.

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

Shop Operations & Leadership

• Oversee day-to-day shop activities and ensure all jobs stay on schedule
• Maintain shop organization, cleanliness, and workflow efficiency
• Manage inventory, product ordering, and supplier relationships
• Enforce SOPs and quality standards
• Support the team with task delegation, time management, and training

Sales, Communication & Customer Experience

• Handle front-of-house tasks including client check-in, estimates, and upsells
• Answer phones, text inquiries, and nurture leads using our CRM
• Schedule appointments and coordinate team assignments
• Provide 5-star customer service and ensure clients feel confident and informed

Hands-On Support

• Assist with detailing prep work, light detailing tasks, and quality control
• Occasionally assist with paint correction or PPF installation
• Support technicians when the shop is busy to keep workflow moving smoothly

What We're Looking For (Requirements)

Required:

• 2-3+ years automotive detailing experience (paint correction, coatings, vehicle disassembly)
• 1.5+ year experience managing or leading a team (auto/detailing industry preferred)
• Strong communication skills and customer-first mindset
• High attention to detail and pride in quality
• Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
• Familiarity with booking platforms and CRMs
• Valid driver's license + reliable transportation
• iPhone or Android for scheduling and communication
• Must be 18+

Bonus Skills (Not Required but Highly Valued):

• Sales or service advisor experience (auto industry or similar)
• Experience with PPF/tint workflow management

Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $48,000–$55,000 annually (Depending on experience)

Schedule

• Monday–Friday: 8:30am–5:30pm
• Saturday: 9:00am–4:00pm
• Sundays OFF
