Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fire Alarm Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining fire protection systems. This role requires a strong understanding of fire safety regulations and the ability to work collaboratively with construction teams to ensure compliance with all applicable codes and standards. The Fire Alarm Installer will utilize their expertise in system design, blueprint reading, and field service to deliver high-quality fire protection solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to ensure accurate system installation.
  • Conduct construction inspections to verify compliance with fire safety regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with construction teams to integrate fire protection systems into building designs.
  • Perform field service tasks including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems.
  • Provide technical support for alarm system sales and assist in training clients on system operations.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installations and repairs.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NFPA codes, sensors, and mechanical knowledge related to fire safety.

Qualifications

  • Experienced and Licensed Fire Alarm technician.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with various hand tools and power tools.
  • Experience in alarm system sales or fire alarm sales is a plus.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Pay: $ $30.00 per hour
